WHO WE ARE

Pacifico Hospitality is a hospitality management and advisory company dedicated to the creation of thoughtful, well-run hotels and hospitality experiences across Indonesia and South East Asia.

Founded by hospitality professionals Elena and Tedy, Pacifico works closely with independent hotel owners and investors to develop, launch, and operate distinctive boutique properties — from early concept and pre-opening to full operational management.

Our work goes beyond traditional consultancy. We partner with owners to shape the identity of each property, build strong operational foundations, and develop teams capable of delivering genuine hospitality every day. From concept development and brand positioning to guest experience design and day-to-day operations, our focus is always the same: creating hotels
that are both commercially sound and deeply connected to their place.

Having worked across emerging destinations, we understand the diversity of Indonesia’s hospitality landscape — from established tourism hubs to developing regions. We believe that successful hospitality here requires more than strong concepts; it requires respect for local context, long-term thinking, and investment in people. Pacifico brings together strategic thinking, operational experience, and a deep passion for meaningful travel experiences to support owners in building hotels that stand the test of time.

MEET THE TEAM

Elena Makogon

Managing Director

Elena brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial, strategic, and hospitality experience to Pacifico. She has worked with international hospitality brands as well as government-led initiatives supporting business development across the APAC region.

Her background combines business development, marketing, and operational leadership, allowing her to work closely with owners to shape the identity, positioning, and long-term vision of each project.

She is driven by a strong interest in how thoughtful hospitality concepts, strong teams, and well-defined brands come together to create places that resonate with travellers while generating a asting positive impact on heir destinations.
Tedy Candra

Managing Partner

Tedy is a hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel operations and pre-opening projects across Indonesia. Over the past decade, he has been involved in launching and leading several award winning boutique hotels and resorts, guiding properties from early development stages through opening and daily operations.

His background spans operational management, team leadership, and the development of systems that allow hotels to run smoothly while maintaining a strong focus on guest experience.

At Pacifico, Tedy oversees operational strategy, pre-opening processes, and on-property implementation, working closely with hotel teams to translate concepts into efficient operations and consistent service delivery.
Yefta Ganda Gunawan

Executive Chef & F&B Development

Yafta brings extensive culinary experience across restaurants and hospitality venues in Indonesia. His background combines hands-on kitchen leadership with a strong focus on menu development, culinary concept creation, and building efficient kitchen operations.

At Pacifico, Yafta leads the culinary direction of our projects, working closely with hotel owners and teams to develop distinctive food concepts, design balanced menus, and establish kitchen systems that support both creativity and operational efficiency.

His work focuses not only on flavour and guest experience, but also on practical kitchen management — from workflow and team training to cost control and sustainable food operations.

Pacifico works closely with independent hotel owners and Investors to shape clear hospitality concepts and build strong operational foundations. Our involvement often begins early in the development process, helping guide projects from initial concept through pre-opening and into operations.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE

Before founding Pacifico in 2023, our team spent many years working across different hospitality projects in Bali and other parts of Indonesia — from early development stages and hotel openings to daily operations.

These experiences shaped the way we think about hospitality today, and continue to guide the standards, operational mindset, and care we bring to every project.

AMBER
Full Hotel Management — Since April 2025

Pacifico began full management of Amber Lombok Beach Resort in April 2025. Our work includes day-to-day hotel operations, financial oversight, sales and marketing strategy, and the redevelopment of the resort’s F&B and wellness concept.

During this period, the team has also led a revision of the brand strategy, including the development of a refined visual direction and brand identity.

ORIGIN
Full Hotel Management — Since April 2025

Pacifico has been responsible for the full management of Origin Lombok since 2025, overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, financial performance, sales and marketing, and overall operational strategy.

Working closely with the on-site team, our role focuses on strengthening operational systems, supporting team development, and ensuring a consistent guest experience while guiding the long-term positioning of the property.

LOST LINDENBERG — BALI

Tedy together with Chef Yefta led the operational preparation and opening phase of Lost Lindenberg from 2020 till 2022, overseeing the transition from final development stages into full hotel operations, including team setup, operational systems, service implementation and F&B concept set up.

CICADA LUXURY RESORT

As Pre-Opening Manager, Tedy was responsible for preparing the resort for launch, overseeing the transition from final development stages into full hotel operations. His role included operational planning, recruitment and training of the opening team, implementation of operational systems, and the development of service standards to support a smooth and successful opening.

BANDIDO ULUWATU
Operational Development & Systems Implementation (2024)

Pacifico worked with the Bandido Uluwatu team during a our-month operational development project focused on strengthening internal systems and team structure.

The work included reviewing departmental workflows, establishing a clear organisational structure, developing an employee handbook and code of conduct, and implementing onboarding and staff evaluation processes. The project also involved creating operational SOPs across departments, introducing an inventory control system, and supporting the team through training to implement the new operational framework.
